They say that love has a funny way of finding its path, and for Christie and Jake, destiny had a special plan in store. Their story began through the cherished bond of friendship, with Jake's sister Remy being one of Christie's closest friends from their college days at Boston University, where they shared not only classes but also the exhilarating moments on the lacrosse field.

Christie and Jake’s first date was a whirlwind adventure in the heart of the Big Apple. Christie visited Jake in NYC, and together they explored the city that never sleeps. A romantic dinner under the city lights was followed by a magical concert that seemed to play the soundtrack to their budding romance.

But the true magic happened on a quiet evening at home. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of gold across the sky, Jake seized the moment on their very own front porch. During a pre “dinner with friends” drink and a game of cards, he mustered the courage to pop the question that would change their lives forever. Little did Christie know, this "dinner with friends" held the key to a future filled with love, laughter, and a lifetime of cherished memories.
